SAF-FORESIGHT Range Planning and Range Safety Tool

SimCentric’s SAF-FORESIGHT is a three-dimensional range safety, planning, and visualization tool supporting live fire collective military training. The product generates ballistically accurate Range Danger Area (RDA) templates, which are mandatory for the safe conduct of live field firing. It also includes a wealth of planning and visualization aids to conduct risk analysis of live fire training.

Although primarily developed for use at live ranges, SAF-FORESIGHT's capabilities can also be used for planning, visualization and analysis in virtual environments – which are often digital twins of real-world ranges. SimCentric’s tool can export RDA templates and control measures to synthetic training environments - enabling seamless 3D range design, analysis, rehearsals, briefing, and virtual walkthroughs. SimCentric and MAK have collaborated to integrate SAF-FORESIGHT with VR-Forces and the MAK ONE synthetic environment – to demonstrate the value that it can bring to a virtual training exercise.
