The WebLVC Testbed - Is now Offline

The WebLVC testbed applications are temporarily off-line. We are redeploying our online simulation to a cloud-based system. If you would like a demonstration, please let us know by filling out this form:

All the apps use WebLVC to communicate between your browser and the hosted simulation exercises.

Mobile Apps

These applications designed specifically to be used on mobile devices.

These applications work with one another to view and control a shared simulation exercise hosted by MAK. They use VR-Forces to run the simulation and VR-Vantage to stream video to mobile devices and web applications.

VR-Vantage Viewer

This app shows the video streaming from VR-Vantage. Launch this app then launch one of the three apps shown below to control the simulation and see the results in this Viewer app.

Instructor App Instructor

Control the view and stimulate simulation with events presented in a simple instructor-controller app.

VR-Vantage Controller

Directly manipulate the VR-Vantage observer position and orientation.

Commander App Commander

Command the VR-Forces entities from a tactical map.

WebLVC Demonstration Apps

These demonstration apps were built to demonstrate how components from the MAK WebLVC Server can be used as a starting point for further development.

Control VR-Forces in the ThunderRun mission. Help the commander and his staff officers evaluate two courses of action in a 12 minute exercise.

An example app that controls the flight path and sensor payload of a UAV.

CloseAirSupport_smallClose Air Support

This role-player station allows you to call for close air support using a standard 9-line interface.

2d-3d-viewer2D/3D Viewer

2D tactical map display and 3D display, side by side.

detonatenow_smallDetonate Now

Click on the map and cause a detonation to happen at the clicked location immediately within the VR-Forces scenario.

weblvc-icon-simulation-manager Simulation Manager

Simulation Manager lets you control each of the MAK Data Loggers hosted in the cloud.

WebLVC Server Sample Apps

These simple apps are included with the MAK WebLVC Server to illustrate, to developers, how they can send/receive data with the WebLVC Server using the WebLVC protocol.

Simple Listener

Receives entity information via the WebLVC protocol and draws dots on a 2D map to indicate their locations.

weblvc-icon-entity-simulator Simple Publisher

Client-side simulation of an aircraft flying in a circle; publishes state via the WebLVC protocol.

weblvc-icon-message-inspector Diagnostic Message Inspector

Displays the contents of WebLVC messages as they arrive.
