Appreciation Across Borders: A Thank You Note to our Partner and Sister Company, ST Engineering Antycip

By Deb Fullford, VP of Sales and Business Development

When I joined MAK in the mid-90’s, one of my first responsibilities was to sign international distributors to represent MAK worldwide. One of the first that MAK signed was a small UK company called Transformation, which eventually became part of Antycip Simulation—a company that has since evolved into ST Engineering Antycip.

Over the years, MAK and ST Engineering Antycip, now sister companies, have grown from small start-ups to leading providers of simulation solutions across the NATO countries.

Fast-forward to today: I recently attended IT2EC as a surrogate member of the ST Engineering Antycip team. Instead of being the one on the hot (demo) seat, I got to sit back, relax, and watch the next-generation Antycip team (Rory Price, Lisa Henneveux, and Chiara Valdrighi) demonstrate how MAK ONE and MAK ONE compliant solutions (TDL for VR-Forces, EWAS for VR-Forces, HIVE for VR-Forces, and MyIG) can deliver tactically accurate, multi-domain simulation platforms to meet customer’s training, experimentation and wargaming needs.

IT2EC also allowed me to reconnect with Katie Howe from Antycip UK and Wolfhard Schmidt from Antycip Italy. Katie, who just hosted two successful MAK ONE Users Conferences in the UK and Norway, has provided MAK ONE solutions to her customers for almost as long as I have! Wolfhard, while a newer addition to the MAK/Antycip family, brings deep expertise from his time in the German Army and his role as Branch Head Modeling & Simulation at the NATO Joint Force Training Center. New to me, but not to Antycip, was Etienne Savage, representing Antycip France. Besides being the mastermind behind making MAK ONE work across multiple display systems, including the latest Virtual Sand Table configuration, Etienne was also my walking companion as we explored the streets of Oslo after the long show hours.

Rounding out the Antycip team are Benoit Rolland and Rüdiger Biskoping, both new to the Antycip family. Benoit, returning for his second stint at Antycip, was just named CEO (congratulations again, Benoit!). Rüdiger, Antycip’s latest team member, is the new territory manager for Germany.

A big thank you as well to Anais Tarbi, European Marketing Manager at Antycip, for leading the behind-the-scenes logistics and making sure everything ran without a hitch.

Traveling to a foreign country, while always an adventure, can sometimes be a challenge. Fortunately for me, the ST Engineering Antycip team made me feel right at home! Here’s to more shared wins, strong partnerships, and great stories to come.

Cheers to a great team, partnership, and bright shared future!
