Tech tip: How to connect with MAK ONE EASY

Cloud architecture is becoming an increasingly viable and effective strategy for the Modeling and Simulation world. To help our customers get connected we’ve introduced our own on-premises cloud in Cambridge, called MAK ONE EASY. (To get a closer look at our cloud approach, check out the article from our September newsletter, “Head in the Clouds: Learnings from Deploying MAK ONE in the Cloud” by Dan Brockway.)

MAK ONE EASY can be used by up to nine customers at any time to access and evaluate MAK ONE products. It’s a simple process to set up, and you’ll have on-demand remote access to simulation tools from the comfort of your own home.

You must have an internet connection with an open port.

You will need to install the Horizon Client application on your computer (Assumes Windows 10)

The MAK Sales team will send you Login Credentials and port number.

What to expect:

You will have access to the software library. That currently contains evaluations for VR-Engage 1.4, VR-Forces 4.7 with a VR-Engage 1.4 add-on, VR-Vantage 2.5 & SensorFX 2.5, MAK RTI 4.5.1, and MAK Data Logger 5.6.

This evaluation of the MAK ONE software suite and the MAK ONE EASY Evaluation As-a-Service will last 14 days. There is no implied warranty — we hope this will be a useful experience for you, but nothing is guaranteed.

We take privacy very seriously, and MAK will not share your evaluation with anyone outside MAK and your company. No private, confidential, or controlled unclassified information (CUI) may be used in your evaluation.

Please note that there is an aspect of shared learning in this process. MAK system administrators will be able to monitor performance and provide support as you need it.
