VT MAK Demonstrates Simulation Interoperability, Product Capabilities, and Web Enabled Innovation at ITEC 2012

MAK Showcases COTS Products Interoperating in ISR Lab Demo Featuring Streaming Terrain and UAV Sensor Stimulation with Simulated Video

Cambridge, Mass., May 22, 2012 – VT MAK, (MAK), a company of VT Systems, Inc. (VT Systems), today announced that it will be showcasing its complete line of simulation software interoperating in an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) lab example, at ITEC 2012, May 22 – May 24 (Booth #H120) in London, England.

This demonstration will highlight key product capabilities including:

  • Simulation Interoperability – MAK will be demonstrating their entire HLA Evolved supported product line, continuing the company’s dedication to simulation interoperability
  • Simulated Video for Unmanned Air Systems - MAK tools are used to build a synthetic, interactive, scenario-driven simulated video stream to replace live video in the development, testing, demonstration, and embedded training of operational video exploitation systems such as UAS ground control stations.
  • Open Streaming Terrain – MAK is showcasing simulation scenarios on its new Hawaii database, an example of our Open Streaming Terrain. With Hawaii, building terrain is faster and more streamlined enabling planning and scenario layout to start in the early stages of terrain preparation. MAK’s Hawaii terrain was built to demonstrate how the terrain techniques supported by MAK’s VR-Vantage, VR-Forces, and VR-TheWorld Server can be combined to cost-effectively create a correlated, seamless, global 3D environment - with just the right amount of fidelity in each area for the tasks at hand.
  • Web Enabled Innovation – MAK is combining web and mobile technologies with traditional COTS modeling and simulation products to provide powerful and lightweight solutions—high-performing, yet accessible anywhere. The company will be demonstrating a UAV ground control station in a web browser as a component of the ISR Lab, showing the flexibility of MAK’s COTS products.

MAK will also be presenting its solutions in two venues at the show.
