Sales Engineer

VT MAK - Cambridge MA

VT MAK is currently seeking experienced sales engineers to support its expanding customer base in the US DoD market. The Sales Engineers will support the US Sales & Business Development team, interfacing directly with customers, developing demos, and help customers understand the breadth of MAK’s products and services.

Qualifications:

  • • Basic knowledge of computer networking
  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience
  • • Strong object-oriented C++ software development experience in Windows and Linux
  • • Authorized to work in the US and eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
  • • Experience working directly with customers in a sales engineering role
  • • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
  • • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • • Due to ITAR restrictions, all candidates must be a “US Person” as defined in 22 CFR § 120.15 (i.e. US citizen, US national, legal permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
  • Background in one or more of the following is a plus:
  • • 3D graphics rendering technology
  • • Game engines or simulation frameworks
  • • Virtual reality, mixed reality, or augmented reality systems
  • • Geospatial systems, web-mapping technology, or terrain databases
  • • High-performance multi-threaded applications and cloud deployment
  • • Distributed simulation networking protocols such as HLA, DIS, or DDS
  • • Defense contractor, DOD, or military experience
