Financial Project Coordinator

Based in Orlando, Florida 

The Financial Project Controller will assist project managers, monitor, report, and maintain document organization of complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts.


  • Assists program management with creating budgets and Estimate to Complete/Estimate at Complete and monitoring costs for programs and projects
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecast for projects
  • Support finance to ensure accurate booking of the project financials
  • Prepare data for use by Project Management
  • Support Business Development during proposals
  • Support project management during project execution regarding risk identification, mitigation and invoicing
  • Monitor deadlines and the coordination of dates
  • Aids program management with organization of contracts, subcontracts, and financial documents
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Reviews and monitors invoices to confirm accurate billing and timely payments. Submits invoices to customers on behalf of the accounting department
  • Supports accounting department by entering charge codes into the system and syncing timesheets to the financial reporting tool
  • Monitors proper time charging against programs and assists with processes to adjust errors accordingly
  • Assists with preparation and delivery of contract deliverables, as well as tracks status of acceptance/rejection
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Intacct experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
