VT MÄK offers you the training you need to meet your specific simulation requirements. We start with product training, but we offer much more than that. Our expertise in distributed simulation means we can train your staff in all aspects of simulation design and development from basic interoperability concepts, to system design and architecture, to scenario development.

MÄK Product Training

MÄK offers training courses for all of our applications. They can be for:

  • End users, for example how to create and run scenarios in VR-Forces
  • Advanced users, for example how to configure the MÄK RTI  for a complicated network topology
  • Developers, such as how to use the VR-Forces Toolkit,  the  VR-Vantage Toolkit, or VR-Link Toolkit.

Courses are scheduled at your convenience, and can be held at our facility or yours. We can provide standardized courses, or as is commonly requested, coursework can be customized to address the requirements of a particular program, project, or functional group.

System Architecture Design

A simulation system might involve a few computers in one room or thousands of workstations located around the world. Our experts in modeling and simulation will help you design an architecture to fulfill your requirements, from initial design through final delivery. We have experience in large scale systems, supporting thousands of computers, and small embedded solutions.

Simulation Project Strategy

MÄK provides full turnkey implementation of modeling and simulation systems, from initial functional and technical specifications through development, to final acceptance and installation.

Interoperability Training

This course teaches about the different commonly used simulation protocols, their strengths and weaknesses. It also discusses upcoming changes to the major protocols.

Simulation Development Training

This course focuses on how to design a simulation for maximum performance and efficiency. It teaches you methods for supporting large entity counts, such as HLA DDM, aggregate management, and load balancing.

3rd Party Product Training

MÄK applications incorporate a variety of third party products. To fully enhance your ability to customize our products, you may need to know how to use the development environments of our third party products. We offer product training for products used with our visualization and simulation software, such as OpenSceneGraph, DI-Guy, and GL-Studio; the Qt toolkit used for our graphical user interfaces; Kynapse, the basis for the B-HAVE module; and sensor modeling in SensorFX.
