Advanced R&D

MÄK is dedicated to advancing the state of modeling and simulation. We maintain an active R&D group that works towards new and exciting developments in the Link, Simulate, and Visualize areas. Building on our expertise and the solid base of our COTS products, we provide customers with innovative solutions to challenging distributed simulation issues.

Linking

In our efforts to stay on the leading edge of simulation interoperability, MÄK has worked on a variety of link-related R&D projects. These include product enhancements, creating new prototype products to troubleshoot simulation networking issues, researching LVC integration , and investigating how disparate protocols can work together.

Simulating

With our work to incorporate advanced models and behaviors into VR-Forces and supporting the simulation of network-centric warfare, MÄK leads the way in innovative simulation solutions.

Visualization

MÄK’s continues our work on visualization and display, including developing enhanced visualization to support situational awareness in network-centric warfare.

GEMS (GIS-Enabled Modeling and Simulation)

GEMS is a technical architecture and set of functional components that enable Modeling & Simulation (M&S) systems to interoperate with Command and Control (C4I) systems. It is a response to the increasing demand for "train as you fight" solutions. Please click here to learn more about GEMS.
