GLS Link

VR Link^® users can now quickly and easily visualize a VR Link connected DIS or HLA exercise through a GL Studio created Live Component. The GLS Link library allows the user to map interactions from a VR Link connected exercise, directly to a GL Studio Live Component. The GL Studio component can send and receive data to and from a VR Link connected exercise at regular intervals or only when required. The GLS Link File Manager comes with the GLS Link library and allows the user to quickly generate an XML mapping file. GLS Link library uses the mapping file at runtime to determine content of data interactions sent between the VR-Link connected exercise and the GL Studio Live Component.

GL Studio^®

Created by DiSTI, the GL Studio software is used to develop photo-realistic interactive 3D Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and electronic displays for embedded systems. GL Studio generates highly optimized, human readable C++/JAVA code that builds Reusable Software Objects which can be reused across the entire life cycle of a program. GL Studio supports the full lifecycle of HMI development ranging from Prototyping to Full Fidelity Simulations to Web Deployable Training. GL Studio content can also be deployed in safety critical applications through use of the GL Studio DO-178B qualifiable code generator. GL Studio is a cross platform, non proprietary HMI toolkit that supports Windows, Linux, Irix and Solaris as well as any Real Time Operating System supporting OpenGL.
