Brains for Human Activities in Virtual Environments (B-HAVE) Module for VR-Forces is an artificial intelligence (AI) plug-in, jointly developed by VT MÄK and Autodesk Games Technology Group (formerly known as Kynogon). Based on proven Kynapse technology, B-HAVE automates the complex tasks of creating path data, and performing intelligent entity pathfinding. B-HAVE provides VR-Forces entities with advanced behavioral capabilities by giving them a rich topological awareness of their environment. Complex scenarios are then easily created by assigning entities various behaviors using built in or user developed agents.

Kynapse

Kynapse is a COTS Software Development Kit (SDK) that provides the technology to make virtual entities move intelligently and realistically in a 3D virtual environment.

Kynapse is used by video game developers world-wide to design games with hundreds of “Non Player Characters” that are controlled by AI. With Kynapse, these Characters can move in real time in a 3D fully dynamic environment, understand their environment and adapt to changes, cooperate, communicate, drive vehicles, fly helicopters, or simply hide from the player, from each other or from a danger.
