Brings the Power of VR-Link to MathWorks Users
Cambridge, Mass., July 26, 2005 ―MÄK Technologies, the world’s leading supplier of distributed simulation software, announced the release of the MÄK HLA/DIS Toolbox for MATLAB and Simulink. MÄK’s newest product brings the power of the High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) communications protocols to MathWorks users. With the MÄK HLA/DISToolbox, users can import live or recorded HLA/DIS data into MATLAB for analysis, integrate MATLAB models into an HLA/DIS environment, and link Simulink models with other HLA/DIS applications.
The MÄK HLA/DIS Toolbox is built on MÄK’s best-selling VR-Link® networking toolkit. VR-Link provides a high-level protocol-independent API to HLA and DIS so users can make applications compliant without writing large amounts of code. It is the best-selling toolkit of its kind. The MÄK Toolbox provides the ability to access key VR-Link functionality directly from m-code - MATLAB's programming language, or from Simulink - MATLAB's visual programming environment.
