Export Control

The United States government maintains a complex framework of laws and regulations that control the export and import of goods, services, software, technology, and technical information from and to the United States. These authorities the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, 22 C.F.R., Parts 120-130 (ITAR), as administered by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, U.S. Department of State (DDTC), the Export Administration Regulations, 15 C.F.R., Parts 730-774 (EAR), as administered by the Bureau of Industry & Security, U.S. Department of Commerce (BIS), and other Federal regulations, as applicable. As a purchaser of MAK products, you are responsible for ensuring the MAK products you have purchased are exported, re-exported, transferred, resold, etc., consistent with the requirements of the ITAR, EAR, or other Federal regulations, in addition to any commercial licensing agreements between the parties.
