SimShield™
SimShield from Trusted Computer Solutions (TCS) permits secure connectivity between highly classified simulators and the rest of the simulation community. SimShield works with the Runtime Infrastructures (RTI) and Federation Object Model (FOM) used by different federations. To simulators in the high and low federations, the near real-time communication provided by SimShield is transparent. SimShield works with multiple RTI’s, which are software implementations of the High-level Architecture (HLA) Interface Specification. The RTI provides common communication services within a federation simulation. No configuration of the simulators is required to allow them to interface with other simulators through SimShield, reducing complexity, compatibility issues and certification requirements.
TCS has an Alliance Agreement with VT MÄK to bundle into SimShield combinations of the MÄK RTI, the MÄK Data Logger, the MÄK Gateway, the MÄK Stealth, and the MÄK Plan View Display.
