As the newly accepted Secretary for the National Training Systems Association (NTSA) Executive Committee, I wanted to let people know what great work the committee does in the training and simulation community. The following three examples demonstrate how the NTSA Executive Committee provides leadership, volunteers, and support:
  • NTSA STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities including the America's Teachers program, a great way to expose teachers from around the country to the community of training, modeling and simulation by sponsoring them to attend I/ITSEC. Click here if you'd like to sponsor a teacher.
  • NTSA Modeling & Simulation Awards presented at I/ITSEC to non-DoD individuals or teams for outstanding achievements in the development or application of models and simulations.
  • The NTSA Training 2015 is a periodic survey conducted by NTSA Executive Committee Volunteers that takes a look at training requirements, trends, forecasts in the military services, transportation industry, NASA, Congress, and the Departments of Labor, Education, and Commerce.
I'm excited to be a part of such a progressive group and look forward to the opportunities to come. For more information about the National Training Systems Association, please visit the NTSA website.
